
Chicken legs in an onion bed
Who doesn't like the kind of food that you put into the owen and after a while it turns into a delicious dish? These chicken legs are not just comfortable to prepare but they are delicious and strongly recommended to anyone.

Ingredients
- 2 (entire) chicken legs
- To taste spices for the chicken: salt, pepper, nutmeg
- 4 medium onions
- To taste spice for the onion: salt, pepper, ground cumin, ginger, green spices
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoon olive oil (for onions, chicken legs and baking tray)
Method
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Peel the onions and cut them into about 6-8 pieces.
In a bowl mix the onion with the spices, a little bit of the olive oil and the balsamic vinegar.
Grease a baking tray with a little bit of olive oil and then place the onions in it.
Grease and season the chicken legs and place them on top of the onions.
Cover the baking tray with aluminium foil and bake it during half an hour in this way.
After half an hour check it and if the chicken is white, remove the luminium foil and bake it until the chicken turns into golden brown.
tip
Turn the meat a few times! In this way both side will be nice and crispy.

Garlic lovers alsa can put some unpeeled, broken cloves garlic into the baking tray to get some extra flavor.
